Semarang – Senin(31/1), Jurusan Pendidikan Jasmani  Kesehatan dan Rekreasi mengadakan perwalian terpadu untuk angkatan 2014, 2015 dan 2016. Kegiatan ini merupakan agenda rutin jurusan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi, layanan bimbingan kepada mahasiswa, dan  persiapan  akademis mahasiwa  pada semester 2017. Pada kegiatan tersebut juga dilanjutkan seleksi PJKR bilingual class sejumlah 30 mahasiswa. Seleksi tersebut dilaksanakan untuk menjaring mahasiswa yang mempunyai kemampuan bahasa inggris dan berprestasi akademik yang baik. ” Melalui pelayanan mahasiswa dengan prima diharapkan jurusan PJKR semakin maju, kuat dan baik ” ujar Mugiyo Hartono, Ketua Jurusan PJKR.

Para mahasiswa tampak antusias mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Hal itu terbukti dengan beragam pertanyaan yang dilontarkan kepada pimpinan jurusan. Harapan mereka kegiatan-kegiatan yang melibatkan mahasiswa baik akademik maupun non akademik dapat terus dilaksanakan secara rutin sehingga target lulus tepat waktu dapat terwujud. Semarang – Jumat (27/1) Ada yang istimewa pada pembukaan Dies Natalis Universitas Negeri Semarang ke-52 kali ini. Pembukaan yang sebelumnya selalu diawali dengan senam bersama di lapangan sepakbola Prof Dirham, pada tahun ini dilakukan di gedung Auditorium Unnes, Hal ini menjadi istimewa karena dihadiri oleh Menristekdikti Prof. H. Muhammad Nasir, M.Si, AK, Ph.D.

Selain Menristekdikti, hadir pula Wakil Ketua DPR RI Dr. Ir. Agus Hermanto, MM yang sekaligus sebagai Ketua Harian Dewan Penyantun Unnes, Direktur Jenderal Pembelajaran dan Mahasiswa Prof. Intan Ahmad, Ph.D, serta Direktur Pembinaan Kelembagaan Dr. Totok Prasetyo.

Keistimewa lainnya pada pembukaan ini adalah peneguhan Unnes sebagai universitas unggul dengan akreditasi A sesuai dengan SK BAN PT Nomor  3174/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/PT/XII/2016. Dalam sambutannya Menristekdikti menyampaikan bahwa Unnes adalah salah satu dari 49 dari 4300 perguruan tinggi negeri yang ada di Indonesia yang memperoleh akreditasi A (Unggul). Hal ini diharapkan dapat memacu Unnes mencapai tujuannya yaitu universitas bereputasi internasional.

Diantara ke tujuh wanita cantik finalis tingkat jawa tengah tersebut, salah satunya adalah mahasiswi Unnes. Tahta Alfinna, merupakan mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat FIK. Gadis yang disapa Tahta ini merupakan mahasiswa IKM angkatan tahun 2015. Sebelumnya Tahta juga telah mengikuti ajang pemilihan duta Unnes 2016-2018 tingkat fakultas.

Miss internet 2017 sendiri merupakan pemilihan miss internet yang ke 4 dan telah berhasil diselenggarakan setiap tahunnya oleh APJJI. Namun tahun ini, APJII meningkatkan kegiatan ini dari tingkat provinsi ke tingkat nasional.

Miss Internet APJII ini memiliki visi dan misi untuk menyampaikan pesan bahwa wanita millenial Indonesia memainkan peranan penting dalam pertumbuhan industri internet di tengah-tengah masyarakat dan budaya Indonesia. Hal ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari penandatanganan dokumen Pakta Integritas Dekan yang disaksikan oleh Rektor pada minggu lalu.

Pakta Integritas adalah pernyataan atau janji kepada diri sendiri tentang komitmen melaksanakan seluruh tugas, fungsi, tanggung jawab, wewenang dan peran sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan dan kesanggupan untuk tidak melakukan korupsi, kolusi, dan nepotisme.

Kegiatan ini dilakukan guna mendukung pencapaian visi dan misi Unnes serta pencapaian prestasi kinerja di tahun 2017 yang merupakan Tahun Reputasi, ujar Prof. Dr. Tandiyo Rahayu, M.Pd. selaku Dekan FIK.

Kembangkan Bola Multifungsi, Dosen FIK UNNES Raih Doktor

Dosen Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Drs Mugiyo Hartono MPd berhasil mempertahankan desertasinya dihadapan penguji saat ujian promosi doktor pendidikan program studi Pendidikan Olahraga.

Mugiyo Hartono mempertahankan desertanya dengan judul Pengembangan Bola Multifungsi untuk Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan, Selasa (10/1) di kampus Bendan Ngisor Pascasarjana UNNES.

Dengan dibimbing promotor Prof Dr Tandiyo Rahayu MPd, kopromotor Prof Dr Soegtiyanto Ks MS, dan anggota promotor Dr Setya Rahayu MS, Mugiyo Hartono lulus doktor dengan predikat sangat memuaskan.

Menurut Mugiyo Hartono, model bola yang cocok digunakan oleh anak-anak SD dan SMP adalah model bola yang ringan, lentur, dan nyaman. Harapannya setiap siswa dapat mengeksplorasi gerak mereka untuk memainkan dan menyentuh bola selama pembelajaran berlangsung.

Namun, pada umumnya guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) selalu menggunakan bola-bola standar dalam praktek permainan basket, voli, dan sepakbola.

Kondisi semacam ini menyebabkan banyak diantara siswa ragu bahkan takut untuk mencoba mempraktikkannya karena mempunyai pengalaman rasa sakit di badan setelah pertama bersentuhan dengan bola standar.

Hasil produk inovasi bola multifungsi yakni dengan ukuran 66 cm yang terbuat dari bahan Spon PU halus tidak licin, berat 270 gram, tekanan 0.250-0.3 bar, dan pantulan 105-115.

Terbukti dengan menggunakan bola multifungsi ini memberikan kontribusi variasi gerak yang kompleks dan keterampilan gerak komprehensif sehingga dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa, pungkas Mugiyo Hartono.
